Set with a flat, uncarved sardonyx - a member of the agate family known for its recognizable striation that makes it a favourite for cameo and intaglio styles - the colour banding is complemented by the soft reeded detail along the ring's shoulders.
Very good antique condition. Engraved inside, "MMS to MKS 1st Jan 1903". c1895. Originally manufactured in the UK.

• 18k yellow gold, stamped and tested, with full British hallmarks for London 1895, maker's mark HM
• Size 7.25 and can be resized within one size
• One oval slab sardonyx, approximately 8x7mm
• Face of ring measures 9.2mm wide, 7.8mm across, with a 2.7mm rise; back of band measures 2.4mm wide and 1.1mm thick
