Dainty Retro Pearl Belcher Ring
Dainty Retro Pearl Belcher Ring

Sold out
A delicate piece featuring a cultured pearl clutched in the tapered prongs of a belcher setting, a style that was popular in the Victorian period and revived in the 1930s and 1940s. Slim and easy to stack, but with the pearl held high enough to catch the eye and the sunlight. The pearl has a lovely lustre, albeit with a little surface wear, while the gold band has a recent enough polish to shine brightly.
Very good vintage condition with moderate wear consistent with age, including some light scuffs to the pearl.
Details:
• 14k yellow gold, stamped and signed AL
• Size 7 1/8 and can be resized within reason
• One cultured pearl approximately 5.3mm in diameter
• Face of ring is 6.9mm at widest with a rise of 8.4mm; back of band is tapered to 1.9mm wide and 1.1mm thick
• 2.6g
