Dreamy Antique Diamond Cluster Band

Deeply loved and full of character, this antique ring is what (my) dreams are made of. Impossibly high, boxy old cut diamonds dazzle in their incomparable way, no two quite alike. A deep patina on both the silver setting and gold band give a depth and richness hard won over generations. Styled as a cross between a navette (or little boat) and a cigar band, the east-west cluster evokes a protective eye in a sturdy, broad band.

Good antique condition with wear in line with age and use, including scuffs to gold, silver, and diamonds, and a rich patina. Stones have all been tightened, but with small bead settings in gold, maintenance should be kept up to prevent loss of diamonds as these cuts would be very difficult to match in replacement.

• 18k yellow gold, stamped and tested, with silver setting, tested
• Size 6 1/2 and do not recommend resizing
• 18 very old cut diamonds conservatively estimated at 0.50ctw
• Face of ring measures 6.3mm wide, 14mm across, with a rise of 2.4mm; back of band measures 5.3mm wide and 1.5mm thick
