A beloved antique style, the "toi et moi" (French for you and me) ring features two stones, often set on a diagonal, and often, like this piece, coordinated rather than the same gemstone. This turn of the century ring features a bright old European cut diamond, full of unique character (such as a pavilion jauntily off-centre!), paired with a glowing pearl.

Though the Victorian era favoured yellow gold and a range of colourful gemstones, the early 20th century saw a preference for feminine styles and white stones - predominantly diamond and pearl - which, along with the soon-to-be-introduced platinum and white gold came to dominate the 1910s-1920s. This ring perfectly balances between these styles with charming Edwardian grace.
