Exquisite Victorian Turquoise Half Hoop Ring 1865
Exquisite Victorian Turquoise Half Hoop Ring 1865
Sweet and delicate, this Victorian ring features a pop of colour as well as intricately engraved details running all around the band. Six natural turquoise cabochons, with variations in colour from age and wear, and likely one replacement, provide beautiful finger coverage, while the engraving has softened patina of a ring that has been much loved. The ring has been sized down at least once, though the engraving is worn enough that the pattern isn't terribly interrupted by the small patch of solder and the seam. The condition isn't perfect, but the ring has the tremendous charm and character of 154 years of love.
