We can't rave enough about this gorgeous, eye-catching ring! Pulling from ancient Egypt and the many Egyptian revivals that followed discoveries in the Napoleonic, Victorian, Art Deco, and mid-century eras, this piece is built around a striking malachite cabochon carved into a scarab. The scarab (a dung beetle!) was revered in ancient Egypt as representing the cycle of rebirth - a symbol of immortality, of transformation, and of resurrection. We love the aesthetic, but we also love the idea of this powerful motif reminding us that through change we continue on day after day.

A band with deep relief and rich patina matches the impact of the bright stone, the ring is in lovely vintage condition with very minor evidence of past resizing visible from inside (nearly indistinguishable on the outside of the band).
