Luminous Old Cushion Diamond Solitaire
Luminous Old Cushion Diamond Solitaire
Chic and understated, this minimalist ring allows the antique diamond at its heart to take centre stage. With a GIA diamond dossier accompanying the number discreetly lasered into its girdle, the old cut stone has charm to match its papers and then some. While the L colour grade is low for modern standards, the mid-warmth range from K-O was hardly considered a detriment in the Victorian era when this stone was mined and cut. The stone also features a strong blue fluorescence - common to varying degrees in natural diamonds - that, like a secret weapon, offsets that very warmth in natural sunlight, giving the effect of a much brighter and whiter stone that dazzles with brilliance and fire. Perfect for someone looking for a timeless, clean setting with the unique character of an antique diamond.
Very good estate condition with moderate wear in line with age and use.
