A solid gold oversized safety pin, these were popular as brooches for men and woman and as collar pins (holding the collar tips just under a tie knot) in the 1930s through 1960s, with many popular versions crafted by renowned jewelers such as Cartier and Tiffany. We love them now styled not only as brooches but also as versatile chain extenders and charm holders.

Very good vintage condition with moderate wear in line with previous use. c1930.
