Rainbow Sapphire Estate Tennis Bracelet
Rainbow Sapphire Estate Tennis Bracelet
There comes a time in every jewelry lover's life when they decide their collection is incomplete without a tennis bracelet. While stone-set line bracelets go back to at least the early 20th century, the "tennis" part of their name is usually traced back to athletic superstar Chris Evert's affinity for a diamond bracelet (among other jewels) that she wore while playing and, famously, nearly lost in a 1978 US Open match. Easily pictured on a country club-going, twin set-wearing type, tennis bracelets and necklaces alike have stormed their way into wider popularity as jewelry lovers everywhere look to up their wrist and neck messes.
Good vintage condition, clasp is secure and integrated in a way that is seamless when closed but can require a little extra effort or help taking it on or off. Construction of bracelet is very lightweight, and it is not recommended for sleeping in/ day-in and day-out wear.
