An absolutely dazzling ring, clearly inspired by Art Deco designs. We strongly suspect that this streamlined yet maximalist ring is a midcentury re-mount custom designed for the half carat of old diamonds that long predate the ring itself. Most likely, a lucky someone inherited a late Victorian cluster ring and opted to modernize with with a tip of the hat to early 20th century style. Designed as an east-west plaque for maximum finger coverage, this ring combines the timeless motifs of the trilogy ring (with the three central old Euros) and the halo ring (crafted in antique rose cuts), set against a backdrop of sleek geometry and a gallery like scaffolding, which evoke the machine age and the Deco era alike. Crisp, clean lines are unadorned by milgrain or engraving, just smooth, mirror-like platinum and the twinkling of diamonds who, alone, know their history.

Very good vintage condition, all stones are secure in their settings and band is thick and sturdy.
