This lovely Edwardian ring captivates with a velvety blue sapphire straddled by old European cut diamonds in a low, elegantly tapered mount. One diamond - with a brighter tone and smaller facets - appears to have been a slightly later replacement and is not quite a match to its warm, chunky mate, but the unique character of this ring reminds us of the beauty in imperfection.

While trilogy rings are often chosen for engagements or anniversaries (representing past, present, and future), this ring would also make a lovely wedding day "something old" AND "something blue," or elevated stacking ring.

Good antique condition, wear to metal and stones. One diamond appears to be a later replacement. c.1910.
