A lovely little Edwardian boat ring, full of nautical charm. While the term "boat ring" refers to the face of the ring - a shape that swells in the middle and tapers out to a point on each side, reminiscent of a small craft like a canoe - added details on this piece add to the effect. The gallery of the ring, under the setting, is decorated both sides with circular cut outs like little portholes when viewed from the side, while the view from above follows each hole with a a scalloping dome like small waves. Beautiful and sparkly, this ring is a dream for any collection. Ahoy!
