Clean lines and Art Deco inspiration meet romantic fancy-cut diamonds and symbolic motifs in this gorgeous midcentury ring. Crisply executed in platinum, this elegant take on a three-stone blends with a floating halo surrounding a beautiful marquise-cut diamond flanked by slim baguette side stones.

The marquise cut has experienced waves of popularity through her lifespan: designed c. 1745, in Paris for King Louis XV, who requested a diamond in the shape of his mistress' smile, the stone has inspired designers (and frustrated stone setters) ever since, reaching peak popularity from the 1950s-1980s. She appears to be making a ferocious comeback, unseating the oval and then pear shapes for those in search of a unique and flattering alternative to a classic round brilliant.

Three stone or trilogy rings have likewise enjoyed a rich tradition. Often interpreted as representing past, present, and future, we love them as much to celebrate a relationship as we do to mark personal achievements, milestones, and goals.

Very good vintage condition, band is sturdy and all stones are secure.
