Soft and elegant, this arching cat is but one in a long line of artistically invoked felines. As far back as Ancient Egypt, the cat held a place of eminence and was considered the earthly incarnation of the sun god Ra. From this lofty height, they have marginally fallen in regard, but have nearly always represented a certain power and freedom.
