A positively divine piece, this ring gives major presence on the finger with volume from its domed shape and sprinkling of star-set diamonds. These plush and plump ring styles - bombe or bombé (alternatively credited to the French "bombe glacée" dessert or the French for bomb-shaped) - date back to the Edwardian and Art Deco periods, with a major revival in the midcentury and 1980s, though they also draw inspiration from rounded styles as early as the Georgian era. 

Very good vintage condition with moderate wear in line with age and use.
