A curious creature indeed, the dimetrodon has stumped many (including, we suspect, this midcentury manufacturer). Often confused as a dinosaur or even a contemporary of theirs, the dimetrodon had a reptile-like appearance but was more closely related to mammals. Its distinctive features are its low, sprawling posture and high sail back. A conversation starter and a reminder to always keep your opps on their toes, never knowing how to pin you down. 

Very good vintage condition with wear in line with previous use.
